Dispatch system requirements
Dispatch applications
Both Parcelware versions (web and desktop) have minimum system requirements for the dispatch application to run properly.
Parcelware Web system requirements
You must have an Internet browser installed on your PC for the web version. There are no additional system requirements for hardware. Parcelware runs seamlessly on the following Internet browsers (browsers that support JavaScript and cookies):
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
- Mozilla Firefox
- Opera
- Netscape
You can also use MAC OS to access your Parcelware Web via the Internet. For security reasons, we recommend that you use the latest versions of the Internet browsers listed above. You must also have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
In theory you can use Parcelware Web on any system that meets the above requirements, but in view of security we recommend that you use Windows platforms (Windows 2000 or higher). The quicker your Internet connection, the more effectively you will be able to work. Any Internet connection will do, but for larger volumes we recommend a faster connection, such as ADSL.
Parcelware Desktop system requirements
The minimum system requirements for the Parcelware Desktop version are the same for Server and Client PC and Standalone PC (server and client on the same PC).

Parcelware is compatible with all laser printers and with the following label printers:
- Eltron 2746, Eltron Orion 2443
- Intermec EasyCoder C4, Intermec E4, Intermec F4
- TEC B472
- Zebra LP 2844, Zebra LP 2844-Z, Zebra Stripe S600, Zebra Z4Mplus, all Zebra ZPL II – standard printers, Zebra DA 402
Parcelware does not support the TSP Starprinter.

File and database formats
Parcelware interfaces simply and effectively with your own business processes. The following file and database formats can be used with Parcelware:
